Veterans
Veterans make up nearly 1% of the US population. This vast number of individuals, many of which who risked their lives for us, are often on the short end of society once they return to the civilian population. Many veterans lack jobs, training or education. Some veterans suffer from Post-TraumaticStress Syndrome. Yet many others are on the streets, homeless.

We all know there are many charities who bring in millions of dollars for worldwide relief efforts. We commend those charities. We also know that big organizations move slowly and they are bound by many rules and policies. Being small, the Wells Charitable Foundation can be fast and flexible in our involvement in international relief efforts.
