Programs for Women At-Risk

The Wells Charitable Foundation supports several charities that work with women who have found themselves in at-risk situations.

A large donation is made every year to charities that take-in and house women who have been living in abusive relationships. Their secret location allows these women to escape the dangers and harmful existence they had in their homes. Children (and now pets) are also protected along with the mothers. Various forms of assistance are provided to these women.

A large donation is also made every year to charities that help rescue and take in women who are victims of Human Trafficking. One charity operates worldwide, using dozens of attorneys and other resources to free women held across the world. While another charity takes in those women and provides these survivors with the tools they need to overcome their past and create a bright future.
